Norihide Miyamura received a Ph.D. degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics from The University of Tokyo in 2008.
He worked on several Earth observation sensors at the NEC Corporation from 2002 to 2005. The spaceborne FTS (Fourier transform spectrometer) was mounted on GOSAT for monitoring greenhouse gases.
He also joined in a number of small satellite projects (CubeSat XI-IV, XI-V, PRISM, Hodoyoshi satellites, PROCYON) since 2000.
He is currently working at Meisei University in Tokyo. His main subjects of interest are adaptive optics and small satellites, in particular, for remote sensing applications.
